Tender-Ready Workshop

Tender-Ready: Navigating Government Procurement

Government tendering can seem out of reach for small businesses, but it doesn't have to be.

Government procurement represents one of the largest and most under-utilised revenue opportunities for women-owned businesses. Local, state and federal governments buy billions of dollars in goods and services every year, and women-owned enterprises are increasingly being prioritised.

If you've ever thought government tenders were too complex, too competitive or only for "big players", this workshop is for you.

In this free online workshop, guest speaker Julie Mikhail, Managing Director‍ of Engineering Business, will break down government tendering in practical, plain-English terms, showing you how to approach it as a sustainable revenue stream. You'll learn how to:

  • Assess whether your business is ready to pursue local, state or federal tenders

  • Identify the right government opportunities and understand what buyers are actually looking for

  • Structure and prepare a strong, confident tender submission that aligns with government regulations

Whether you're tender-curious or ready to actively pursue government contracts, this workshop will give you clarity, confidence and a realistic pathway into public sector procurement.
