Procurement Capability Workshops

Our pilot Procurement Capability Workshops, held in partnership with Transport for NSW, gave women-owned businesses the confidence to pursue supply chain opportunities. Held in Parramatta and Windsor.

"I deserve a seat at the table"

That's what one woman took from our Procurement Capability Workshops, and it's exactly what they were built for: to give women-owned businesses the confidence to go after supply chain opportunities.

For a lot of the women in the room, major supply chains have felt like a closed door. Across both workshops, Julie Mikhail, Managing Director of Engineering Business, gave them the practical information to help change that: how supplier databases work, what belongs in a capability statement, and the steps to procurement readiness.

At Phive Parramatta, a panel from Transport for NSW spoke about what buyers look for, the common mistakes, and what contract-ready looks like from their side of the table. In Windsor, we were joined by Fulton Hogan representatives, who shared how diversity is being built into supply chains and what helps women-owned businesses stand out.
