Entrepreneurial & Small Business Women Australia (ESBWA), in partnership with Transport for NSW and Western Sydney Women, and supported by the NSW Government Women in Construction program, is delivering a series of free Procurement Capability Workshops for women-owned businesses in Western Sydney.

Each session provides practical, project-specific content to build your skills, knowledge and confidence to engage with supply chain opportunities through the delivery partners within the Transport for NSW Western Sydney project pipeline.

What to expect

You'll leave with a clear understanding of supply chain opportunities, where your business could fit in and what "contract-ready" looks like. This workshop covers:

  • The local project pipeline and upcoming contract opportunities relevant to your business

  • Procurement pathways explained, from expression of interest to contract award

  • How to position your business beyond price, from capability statements to compliance

  • Common mistakes and how to avoid them

  • Facilitated discussion with Tier 1 and Tier 2 representatives on what buyers are looking for

Who this is for

Women-owned or women-led businesses based in Western Sydney, including sole traders, majority-women-owned businesses (≥51%) and women-led social enterprises/not-for-profits.

Priority will be given to the following focus industries:

  • Engineering and technical consulting

  • Project management

  • Trade-related services

  • Design, architecture, planning

  • Environmental, compliance, ICT, safety, business advisory services

How to register

Workshops are by invitation only. To be eligible for a workshop invitation, please fill out an Expression of Interest below and join ESBWA’s Women-Owned Supplier Network.

ESBWA will reach out with invitations to eligible businesses as places become available.

Priority will be given to focus industries. If we can't place you in this round, we'll add you to the waitlist for upcoming workshops later in 2026.
